This page covers the Cork app and this website.

What Cork stores

Cork keeps your boards, tiles and notes on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.

Purchases

Cork Pro is a one-time purchase handled by the store you bought it from: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone. We never see your payment details. Google's handling is covered by Google's privacy policy, and Apple's by Apple's privacy policy. The app keeps an on-device record that Pro is unlocked.

Finding apps to pin

On Android, Cork reads the list of apps on your phone that can be opened, to draw the picker and your tiles. On iPhone, the picker looks names up in the App Store as you type, fetches a pinned app's icon from the App Store once (you can switch that off in the picker), and tops up Cork's built-in list of apps from cork.zone7studios.com about once a week. Apple's handling of App Store lookups is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Photos and files you attach

Attachments arrive through the system pickers, which hand the app only what you selected. Cork keeps a copy in its own private storage, the original stays where it was, and removing an attachment deletes only Cork's copy.

This website

No cookies, no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The web server keeps a standard access log for up to 30 days, and we do not count page views.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf; Cloudflare's privacy policy describes how it handles data as our provider. Some pages link out to other services such as Google Play, which are covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Children

Cork is a general-audience app.
